AWANA is a Bible-based, Christ-centered program for children. The word AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, and who correctly handles the Word of Truth."
Boys and girls from Kindergarten up to 6th grade are invited to join us on:
Wednesday nights (6:30 pm to 8:00) starting in September and running through April
If the Belle Plaine school system is shutdown for any reason on Wednesday due to weather, holidays or the Covaid virus - AWANA will also be suspended at that day.
Children from ages Kindergarten to 2nd grade are called Sparks.
Children ages 3rd grade to 6th are called T & T. - Truth & Training.
For a fun and exciting time as we learn God's Word by scripture memory, hearing God's word in group time through lesson presentations & a game time that is always a hit with the kids.
